70th birthday gift
Seventy years. Told by the people who love them.
Children, grandchildren, the brother in another state, the friends from fifty years ago. A film they will watch more than once.
At seventy, people have stopped wanting things and started wanting people. A film of their children, their grandchildren and their oldest friends, each saying a minute of what they would never say out loud, is the gift that fits. You send one link. Each person records on their phone, with no app and no account. Warmcut makes the film, and you watch it free before you pay.

Why a 70th suits a film
Seventy is the birthday with the most generations. Grandchildren who can talk, children in their forties, siblings, and friends who have known them since school. Many of them cannot travel. A film brings every one of them into the room for a minute each, and it becomes the thing the family watches again in ten years.
Who usually organises it
The children, usually one of them. You send the link to the family group and to the friends your parent would want, by WhatsApp, text or email. No app, no account, so friends who are not good with phones can still do it in a minute. Warmcut trims the pauses, levels every voice, puts the messages in story order and adds music and captions.
A film they can keep
Play it at the lunch, then send the link so they can watch it at home as often as they like. Pay once to remove the watermark, share the private link and download it in 1080p with all the original clips. Old photos from the grandchildren are welcome and Warmcut places them in the film.
Other ideas
Honest alternatives. A film is not always the answer.
A film from the family (Warmcut)
Best for a parent who says they want nothing and a family spread across cities. From US$19. If they are very private, give it to them alone rather than at the lunch.
The family lunch
What most seventy-year-olds want. Play the film after the cake and it becomes the part everyone remembers.
A trip with the children
Wonderful, if health and diaries allow. The grandchildren and the old friends are not on it; the film is how they take part.
A memory book
Letters and photos, bound. Beautiful and slow to make. The film is the same thing with voices, made in an evening.

Can their old friends record if they are not good with phones?
Tap the link, press record, talk. No app, no account, no password. A grandchild can sit with them if needed.
